Aug 2017, Shelly was employed by The Street Theatre to direct an original contemporary classical music work with narration "7 Great Inventions" , and transform it from concert recital to fully theatricalised immersive music-theatre experience with a team of Melbourne and Canberra based artists. Working with Dene Kermond and Sally Greenway, Shelly received outstanding critical responses for this work.
